Gunge is a thick brightly coloured liquid used to get someone messy.

Our gunge is non-toxic, so will not harm you or stain your skin.

If cleaned quickly after use, our gunge should not stain surfaces. However, we strongly recommend covering any surfaces with a sheet. If the gunge does get on surfaces, wash as soon as possible with warm water and cleaning products.

While it should not stain, we cannot guarantee as it will depend on the fabric. We find white clothes are more likely to stain, so always wash clothes as soon as possible, and try to wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty.

Each bag makes 10 litres of gunge, which is a standard size bucket.

Our gunge is biodegradable, which means after you have finished, simply pour it down a drain. Adding cold water will help it dilute.

MessyPup is thicker than other suppliers' standard gunge by default. We have two thicknesses - Standard and Extra Thick. Standard will give a splash effect when poured over someone. Extra Thick will cling to the body more and gives a gooey feel. Watch our comparison video below to see the difference:

We offer a variety of colours. On the product page, once you select a colour, it will show you that colour in use! Can’t decide? Select Random, and we will pick a colour for you!

Our UV gunge glows in the dark under UV light - you would need a UV blacklight to enable it to glow. When not under UV light, our UV gunge has a more neon colour compared to our standard gunge. See our UV gunge in action when under a UV blacklight:

The recommended use by date for our gunge powder is 2 years. Once the gunge has been made, we recommend using no later than 3 days.

We are happy to exchange an item of clothing for a different size, however you will need to cover the shipping costs of returning the original item and the replacement item. We accept exchanges within 14 days after you receive your order.

We recommend washing clothing at 40 degrees or less. Iron on reverse. Do not tumble dry.

In the UK we use Royal Mail. For Europe and North America we use UPS. For other international regions we use Royal Mail, who will hand your parcel over to your local postal service in your country.

Yes. We ship our orders either in brown cardboard boxes, or postage bags. “MessyPup” or “Gunge” will not appear anywhere on your parcel. Please note, for international orders, the customs declaration will state the primary chemical used in our powder.

Orders are sent tracked, and you will receive the tracking number once your order has been dispatched. The only exception is orders containing clothing, and samples, these are sent untracked.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before placing your order. If you need to change the address please contact us as soon as possible, once your order has been dispatched we cannot change the shipping address and take no responsibility for shipping to an incorrect address.
